I have spent my entire life taking photographs. The thrill of capturing a moment in time… forever… has always inspired me. As a journalism major in the 1960’s, my photography style was shaped and influenced, in part, by the Vietnam War, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Apollo 11 moon landing and the assassinations of John and Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X…and others. By learning photography on 35mm cameras, I was forced to spend numerous hours studying lighting, depth of field, exposure, and composition. It is that attention to detail, combined with the technological advances of Photoshop, that has enabled me to bridge the gap between the imagery of decades passed and the development we will continue to see in the future. I hope you enjoy exploring the pictures on this website as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
